The January Transfer window is of course now open.
That means plenty of teams will be making plenty of moves and one such team is Manchester United.
They have already made plenty of changes to their team in the past year, including in the dugout, but it still does not seem to have worked. Their defeat against Southampton in the Premier League last week was alarming and they are not looking like catching Manchester City or Chelsea in the title race.
So where do they need to improve?
One area which is of concern is at right-back. The performances of Rafael this season have left much to be desired while Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young are only really capable of playing at wing-back.
What United could do with is a right-back, who could play wing-back, with experience in the Premier League.
Someone like, Everton's Seamus Coleman.
The Republic of Ireland international started his career as a winger but has gone backward in recent times. His swashbuckling displays for Everton always get him noticed but this term his team are struggling.
With Everton scrambling for points this might be the perfect time for Manchester United to make a move for the player.
The Guardian claimed that Coleman was United's main transfer target for the month at the end of last month, suggesting he would cost in excess of £20 million.
If he was to add balance to their shaky defence, that would be a small price to pay for this excellent attacking full-back.
