Predicted Swansea City and Chelsea line-ups: Two changes from Mourinho

Swansea Liberty Stadium

Match to be played on Saturday 17th January 2015 at 15:00. Venue: Liberty Stadium, Swansea.

Swansea City could overtake Liverpool on the Premier League table if they win this weekend and other results go their way.

However, there are two main reasons the Swans head into this game as underdogs.

The first is because they are playing Chelsea, the Premier League leaders who have had a week to rest after their win against Newcastle.

The second is because they have just sold their star striker in a £28 million deal to Manchester City.

For Chelsea it’s the same old story; play hard and defend the lead at the top of the table.

Chelsea have fought well to get back out in front in the title race after City had closed the gap over the Christmas and New Year period and that should give them extra inspiration heading into the game.

Here are the sides Garry Monk and Jose Mourinho could go with this weekend.

Swansea City: Fabianski, Rangel, Fernandez, Williams, Taylor, Britton, Carroll, Dyer, Sigurdsson, Routledge, Gomis

Chelsea: Cech, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Luis, Willian, Matic, Fabregas, Oscar, Hazard, Costa
