A round up of news stories this morning related to Chelsea.

The Daily Star has claimed that Chelsea are ready to sell Mohamed Salah and Andre Schurrle.

The paper names the duo as part of a ‘clear-out’ list with Jose Mourinho reportedly keen to consolidate his squad over the second half of the season.

The Star suggests that if Chelsea sign anyone this month, it will be a top defender.

Nathaniel Chalobah’s loan move to Bordeaux is off according to French newspaper Sud-Ouest.

The Blues youngster had been tipped to go and experience life in Ligue One as he continues his development in the game.

However, Bordeaux’s president has revealed that ‘the Chalobah folder is now closed.’

The Daily Mail reports another youngster, Islam Feruz, is in talks with Blackpool over a possible move.

The 19-year-old was suggested as a target for Cardiff City but the paper claims he wasn’t able to convince the Welsh club to move for him.

He reportedly trained with the Cardiff first team for a week.
