The Burnley striker would be perfect for Mauricio Pochettino's team.
The January Transfer window is of course now open.
That means plenty of teams will be making plenty of moves and one such team is Tottenham Hotspur.
The club have been in good form recently, despite the recent defeat against Crystal Palace. So additions might not be needed, but there is certainly one area where they could improve.
Whilst Harry Kane is having the time of his life up front for the club, he could really do with some proper support. Roberto Soldado has tried his best, but simply does not look cut out for this style of football. Emmanuel Adebayor on the other hand appears to have become unwanted at White Hart Lane.
A new striker would certainly be a good buy.
So who should they bring in?
The perfect option would be Burnley striker Danny Ings.
The England under-21 international has impressed since he was promoted with The Clarets, despite some early injury problems.
His pace, running in behind and fantastic finishing ability would make him the perfect partner for Kane - creating space for Kane to fill and strike while also giving Kane the opportunity to drop in and shoot from range or find other options beyond him.
Other options are obviously available but the idea of Ings and Kane up top for Tottenham is one that should have all Spurs fans excited.
