The next wave of Nintendo amiibo figures has been revealed

Nintendo amiibo Super Mario Bros set 1

Two new sets of Nintendo's collectible figures that function with Nintendo games are on the way.

During the Nintendo Direct broadcast today another one of the announcements made was the next wave of amiibo figures.

The next wave will include amiibos from the Super Smash Bros. series, due out in spring. I have listed them for you below:

  • Robin
  • Lucina
  • Pac-Man
  • Wario
  • Ness
  • Charizard

A new Super Mario Bros series of amiibo is also being released too, which will include some characters already seen in the Super Smash Bros. amiibo lineup, however they will be in new poses. Whether you have a Smash Bros. amiibo or Super Mario series amiibo, they still function exactly the same way.

This lineup of characters is due on 20th March, and they are listed below:

  • Mario
  • Luigi
  • Princess Peach Bowser
  • Yoshi
  • Toad

The Toad amiibo will work with the recently-released Captain Toad Treasure Tracker, along with the upcoming Mario Party 10. In order to use a figure on both Smash and Mario Party you will need to delete that figure's Smash data first.
