Arsenal have to face to the prospect of Danny Welbeck missing out against Manchester City, report The Guardian.
The England international is an uncertainty, with the paper reporting: "He (Arsene Wenger) has a selection doubt over Danny Welbeck.
"The striker has missed the past three matches with thigh trouble but if he does not make the trip to City he should be available for the FA Cup tie at Brighton & Hove Albion on 25 January."
Welbeck has a strained quadricep, and PremierInjuries.com rate him as having a 50% chance of making this Sunday's clash at The Etihad Stadium.
The England international played against City for Arsenal earlier in the season and came close to scoring, denied by the woodwork. He has scored against them previously at the Etihad, for previous side Manchester United.
Arsenal missed Welbeck in the away loss against Southampton, but did not need him in the two subsequent home wins against Hull City and Stoke City.
Olivier Giroud is likely to lead the attack, but does not have a great record against Manchester City, failing to score in four previous Premier League appearances.

If Welbeck does return however, Arsene Wenger could have a real selection headache with Mesut Ozil hoping to start, and Theo Walcott also gearing up for more game time having been picking up match fitness over the past fortnight.
