The Hull Daily Mail reports that Gaston Ramirez is to complete a season-long loan at the KC Stadium despite speculation suggesting he could soon be on his way out.
The Uruguay international agreed a switch to Hull City in the summer of 2014 after being deemed surplus to requirements at Southampton.
Form and fitness have been issues, with rumours during the January transfer window hinting at a fresh start back in his native South America.

The Daily Mail claims that Argentine heavyweights Boca Juniors have expressed an interest in taking the 24-year-old forward.
Such talk has, however, been played down by the Hull Daily Mail.
They claim to be unaware of any interest in the former Bologna playmaker, with Southampton also unable to recall Ramirez to St Mary’s.
They could sanction a permanent sale were an offer to be made, but they would then have to compensate Hull for the remainder of their loan agreement.
It is therefore expected that Ramirez will see out the season in East Yorkshire, with Steve Bruce hoping that he can rediscover his spark and help guide the Tigers away from relegation trouble.
