PlayStation Now free trial launches in the US

PS4 users who’ve not yet checked out the game streaming service can use it free for 7 days.

Sony have made a seven day free trial of its new game streaming service, PlayStation Now available on the PlayStation Store.

The trial is only accessible by PS4 users at present and will require a credit card to activate it, although this won’t be charged. To get at the trial you’ll also need to download the PS Now app, which weighs in at a modest 2 megabytes.

Signing up for the trial gets you access to over 100 games from the full subscription line-up, although, If you’re already a subscriber you unfortunately won’t be eligible for the trial.

For the time being the PlayStation Now service and trial are only available to US and Canadian residents, Sony has promised to roll out PS Now in other regions but at the time of writing no due date has been given.
