Josh Onomah made his Tottenham Hotspur debut against Burnley.

Teenager Josh Onomah came off the bench to make his first team debut for Tottenham against Burnley.

The 17-year-old was brought on in the 77th minute for England international Andros Townsend, with Tottenham 4-2 up.

Spurs had gone 2-0 down in the first 10 minutes and were playing the game out after an impressive fightback, in the FA Cup third round replay at White Hart Lane.

Onomah has four assists in 13 games for Tottenham's under-21 side this season, and was named on the bench in the original third round clash at Turf Moor a little over a week ago, but remained an unused substitute.

He had also featured on the bench twice in the Europa League this season but had not made his debut until being brought on against the Clarets.

Onomah wore the number 47 shirt during his late cameo. He is also an England under-18 international.

The winger will hope to follow Harry Kane and Ryan Mason by breaking through as first team regulars from the academy.
