The highest-profile transfer deal of the January window so far has been confirmed.

The 26-year-old scored 20 league goals for Swansea during the last calendar year. And new Manchester City team-mates Sergio Aguero and Yaya Toure were not far behind with 18 and 17 goals each. Manchester United's Wayne Rooney was fourth, scoring 16 goals, while Edin Dzeko completed Manchester City's dominance with 14 goals in fifth.
The Ivorian's switch to Manchester City, then, sees the club boast the Premier League's most potent strike-force, with four of the top five goal scorers from the last 12 months.
But are Manchester City fans happy with the move?
Looking at reactions on the whole, you'd have to say yes. There has, however, been scepticism about whether Bony will truly see regular game time at the Etihad Stadium.
Swansea fans, meanwhile, are mostly gutted to see their top scorer leave the club. The 26-year-old has been a loyal servant to the club during his time at the Liberty Stadium and no one striker in world football is guaranteed to be as successful in Wales should they be signed as his replacement.
Perhaps the biggest talking point is whether the former Swansea striker has been signed as a replacement for Edin Dzeko (outbound?) or simply as a fourth striker alongside Dzeko, sealing for good Alvaro Negredo's Manchester City exit.
Here are some of the best fan reactions to the move on Twitter...
so Bony is now a former Swansea City player, all the best to him, hope he gets game time unlike some others who went that way #swans— Rob Button (@swansearob) January 14, 2015
It's happened! The worst kept secret of the transfer window- thank you Bony for the good times and good luck #swans— Tim K photography (@Tkphotoman) January 14, 2015

Bony is a great signing. Missed Negredo's physicality upfront & this guy has it all. Manuel likes 2 up top & a great foil for Aguero #MCFC— Neil_K (@NK_ESQ) January 14, 2015
Bony deal done with #mcfc Worth it? As a city fan, I have to say NO.— Rash Frantic (@rashfrantic) January 14, 2015
