Rodgers 'not convinced' by Neto

According to the Daily Mirror, Reds manager Brendan Rodgers isn't convinced by Fiorentina goalkeeper Neto, who has been strongly linked with the club.

The 25-year-old is out of contract at the end of this season and will therefore be able to move on for free. In a bid to get some money for him, Fiorentina are willing to sell him for just £2m in January according the Mirror.

He's therefore been recommended to Rodgers as a replacement for the underwhelming Simon Mignolet, but the Mirror believe that Rodgers isn't convinced with the Brazilian, and may be willing to wait until the summer to sign a new goalkeeper.

Pallotta says Pjanic is not for sale

As Liverpool look to sign a replacement for Reds legend Steven Gerrard, Roma's Miralem Pjanic has been touted as a possible target - only for their president James Pallotta to say the Bosnian, as well as Kevin Strootman, is not for sale; unless a huge bid comes in.

"The Liverpool thing with Pjanic is the same. We have another four years with him, and we love him," said Pallotta. "We want to put the best team on the pitch, that's the most important thing. But we're businessmen. If someone comes in with a stupid number for a player, you have to listen to it. You can't just say no, no matter what.

Suso could leave in January

Football Italia, citing reports in Gazzetta Dello Sport, suggest that Liverpool's Spanish playmaker Suso could yet join AC Milan this month.

The youngster has found first team opportunities hard to come by at Anfield, and has already agreed to join Milan when his contract expires this summer.

However, if Liverpool are willing to let him leave for a nominal fee, Milan could yet sign him this month, if Gazzetta are to be believed.
