Should The Magpies make a move for the Belgian sensation on loan this month?
The January Transfer window is of course now open.
That means plenty of teams will be making plenty of moves and one such team is Newcastle United.
The Magpies have had a topsy-turvy season so far and of course they need to first look into bringing in a new manager, before they get carried away with new players.
But where should they improve?
Undoubtedly one area that needs improvement is in the wide positions.
Newcastle have turned plenty of more centrally minded players into wide-men in recent times but with Gabriel Obertan injured the club has little to no genuine wide players.
So who should they go for?
In 2006 Newcastle raided Manchester United for a talented teenager called Giuseppe Rossi, who went on to impress at St James Park. They should move again for a United youngster, in 19-year-old Adnan Januzaj.
The Belgian wide-man has barely got a game in recent times at United under Louis van Gaal but is a supremely talented individual just dying for an opportunity to play regular first-team football.
He can play either wide left or wide right and there is no doubt that he is one of the top talents in world football, but simply needs regular playing time in order to fulfil his potential.
St James Park would be the perfect location for him to express himself on the pitch and it would do him, Newcastle and Manchester United good to have him playing regular football in the Premier League.
