The Colombia international got on the scoresheet for the Viola in the victory over Palermo at the weekend.
After the World Cup in the summer and Colombia’s impressive performances in Brazil, Juan Cuadrado was singled out in the media as a player that Manchester United were monitoring.
The versatile right-sided player’s electric pace and trickery have been on show for a number of seasons in Serie A and the South American got amongst the goals at the weekend.
Cuadrado scored Fiorentina’s third in a dramatic 4-3 victory over Palermo at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, as can be seen at 3.05 of the video below.
The strike was the 26-year-old’s fourth of the season, while Cuadrado has also provided four assists in Serie A.
Reports today are linking United with a move for Everton’s Seamus Coleman, but with Cuadrado continuing to impress for the Viola, revisiting their interest in the Colombian could well be a shrewd move by Louis van Gaal’s men.
