Video: Ex-Man United star Nemanja Vidic and Mauro Icardi net for Inter

The pair scored in the Nerazzurri’s 3-1 victory over Genoa at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza at the weekend.

Inter Milan have shown promise in the January transfer window with the signings of Lukas Podolski and Xherdan Shaqiri to bolster their squad.

The Stadio Giuseppe Meazza continued their positive start to 2015 with a 3-1 home victory over Genoa at the weekend.

After Rodrigo Palacio had given Roberto Mancini’s men the lead, hotshot striker and reported Chelsea target Mauro Icardi doubled the Nerazzurri’s lead, as can be seen below.

The Argentine now has ten Serie A goals this season and is starting to show why Jose Mourinho’s men were being linked with a move for him late last year.

After the visitors had pulled one back, former Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic made sure the result was not in doubt with this goal two minutes from time.

The strike was the Serb’s first goal for the Italian side and ensured the three points went to Inter.

Mancini’s men move up to ninth with the win and are now only six points adrift of the Champions League qualification berths.
