Southampton's injured defender has sent a picture of how he is recovering.

Belgian news outlet Sport Wereld reported on Tuesday that the on-loan centre-back would be out for four weeks with a torn muscle and he has since posted a picture of his leg being treated along with the message, "My friend for the next days. Coming back stronger."
Alderweireld has played 18 games for Southampton this season and has proved to be an outstanding addition to a side that currently sits third in the Premier League.
The Belgian international replaced Dejan Lovren following the Croatian's move to Liverpool and he has looked a class act, and one the Saints will surely be hoping to tie down to a permanent deal if they can agree something with his parent club Atletico Madrid.
Whatever the future holds, Alderweireld will be looking to return to action as soon as possible, with his presence vital to a Southampton side who are still pushing for a Champions League spot.
