Report: Tottenham Hotspur's provisional FA Cup squad, 17-year-old Onomah included

Tottenham Hotspur face Burnley in an FA Cup third round replay on Wednesday night.

The Evening Standard is reporting Josh Onomah is in Tottenham Hotspur's provisional FA Cup squad to face Burnley.

24 names are included, which will be trimmed down to 18 for the game, but at this stage it reveals the selection pool of talent Mauricio Pochettino is weighing up ahead of the third round replay at White Hart Lane.

They report the provisional squad as including: Lloris, Vorm, Friedel, Walker, Naughton, Rose, Davies, Dier, Fazio, Kaboul, Vertonghen, Chiriches, Stambouli, Dembele, Onomah, Paulinho, Capoue, Eriksen, Chadli, Lennon, Townsend, Soldado, Adebayor, Kane.

Onomah is a 17-year-old attacking midfielder who has four assists in 13 games for Tottenham's under-21 side this season, and was named on the bench in the original third round clash at Turf Moor a little over a week ago, but remained an unused substitute.

He has also featured on the bench twice in the Europa League this season but is yet to see any game time.

Notable absentees include Erik Lamela and Ryan Mason, but the paper do add that if either pass late fitness tests, they could come in for consideration.

Onomah has represented England at under-16, under-17, and under-18 levels.
