Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has sent a positive message to the fans on social networking site Twitter.
On Tuesday evening, former Athletic Bilbao star took to Twitter to post the following message.
Herrera’s message comes just two days after United suffered their first defeat in the New Year.
Louis van Gaal’s side were expected by many to win against Southampton at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday, but they stumbled to a 1-0 defeat.
Dusan Tadic’s second-half goal proved to be the difference between the two teams, as United dropped down to fourth in the Premier League table.
The Red Devils’ performance left much to be desired, and perhaps Herrera has realised that. The 25-year-old came on as a substitute just after the hour mark, but he failed to prevent the Manchester outfit from dropping all three points at home.
United are back in Premier League action on Saturday when they take on Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.
Van Gaal will be expected to led his team to victory in that game, but it may not be very easy. QPR are struggling for results at the moment and are currently second from bottom, but they will make it tough for United at home.
