Another MOBA heads into closed beta today, with a bunch of new features and improvements.

Blizzard's Heroes of the Storm closed beta arrives today in a new update, which includes quite a few new features and improvements.

The technical alpha version of the game has gone offline so that Blizzard can implement the new patch. The game will be back online at around 7pm UK time as a closed beta.

A new walkthrough video has been released which hears Blizzard's Kevin "Cloaken" Johnson talk about what is new in the update. The tutorial has been improved, to ease new players into the world of MOBAs and HotS; ranked play has been added; and also a new draft mode.

A new three-lane Sky Temple map has been squeezed into the patch, along with a new hero too - Thrall, Warchief of the Horde. Some hero skins have been touched up by the Blizzard art team as well, including Pajama Abathur.

Take a look at the handy closed beta walkthrough video below, which talks about what's new.
