Arsenal media round-up: Ex-Poland goalkeeper says Szczesny should leave on loan

A round up of news stories related to Arsenal this morning.

Former Poland goalkeeper Jan Tomaszewski claims Wojciech Szczesny should leave Arsenal on loan.

The Gunners star was recently dropped from the side after he was fined for allegedly smoking after the Southampton game. The Daily Mirror claimed Szczesny was furious at being dropped because he believed he was going to start the match against Stoke City last weekend.

“If Wojciech is dropped, then he should be loaned out, somewhere where he will play regularly,” Tomaszewski told Katowicki Sport according to the Irish Examiner.

The Daily Express claims Alvaro Arbeloa isn’t interested in a move to Arsenal.

The paper claims the Spanish defender was a target for the Gunners last summer, but suggests he’s keener on a Liverpool reunion and going to play for Brendan Rodgers.

The Daily Mail has reported that Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy could be out of action for three months.

The paper claims his injury spell following a dislocated shoulder against Stoke City, will be longer if he requires surgery on the problem.

Arsenal currently have Calum Chambers who can cover on the right hand side of defence.
