A GameCube controller adapter that works on PC

A cheaper alternative to the official Nintendo accessory.

A cheaper, third-party, version of Nintendo's Wii U GameCube adapter is on sale from Chinese manufacturer Mayflash.

Eurogamer reports that the adapter is being sold by Play-Asia, although they are currently out of stock, with "not-yet allocated stock" due to arrive on 2nd February.

Not only is this a cheaper alternative (around £13) to the official Nintendo version, but it also connects to PCs, meaning it supports the Dolphin GameCube and Wii emulator through USB.

Nintendo's official GameCube controller adapter is currently sold out on Nintendo's store, with an estimated delivery date of March 2015. There are other places to buy the adapter, but you will be looking to pay over the odds.
