Tottenham Hotspur media round-up: Serie A side reportedly interested in signing Paulinho

A round up of news stories this morning related to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Daily Mirror has claimed that Serie A side Juventus are interested in signing Brazilian midfielder Paulinho on a permanent deal.

Paulinho has struggled for game time under Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino, having not made a start in the Premier League this season.

The same report from the Mirror claims that several players could be allowed to leave White Hart Lane this month.

The Daily Mirror also claims that Leicester City have made a £3 million bid for Tottenham defender Kyle Naughton.

Naughton is facing a real fight for a place in the Spurs first team with DeAndre Yedlin, Kyle Walker and Eric Dier all capable of playing at right-back.

Tottenham manager Pochettino has admitted that Harry Kane has been an important player for the club over the last few months.

Kane has been Tottenham’s best striker this season, on a current run of form which has seen him net seven strikes in his last eight games.

“It is true that Harry in the last months, in the last games, has been an important player for us. But I think Tottenham as a team is not only one player,” Pochettino is quoted by the Daily Mirror.
