Radamel Falcao votes for Manchester United star in Ballon d'or final three, reveal FIFA

Radamel Falcao

Radamel Falcao voted Angel di Maria into his Ballon d'Or top three.

Radamel Falcao voted for Angel di Maria in his top three Ballon d'Or choices, FIFA have revealed.

FIFA released data detailing all of the top three votes from every international boss, captain, and selected country media member from all of it's members from around the globe.

As captain of Colombia, Manchester United loanee Falcao was one of the voters and his selection is as follows:

1) James Rodriguez

2) Cristiano Ronaldo

3) Angel di Maria

Di Maria joined United from Real Madrid a fortnight before Falcao signed, although the striker is only on loan and is at this stage not guaranteed to be playing alongside his fellow South American next season.

Notable in Falcao's selection is his international loyalty to World Cup star James Rodriguez, his compatriot and former Monaco teammate.

The pair also played alongside each other at Porto before signing for the Ligue 1 side two summers ago, and would have been starring at the World Cup together had Falcao not been badly injured at Monaco, having to miss the tournament.
