A round up of news stories this morning related to Manchester City.

Swansea and Manchester City are reported to have agreed a fee for the transfer of striker Wilfried Bony.

The price is thought to be in the region of £30 million, which would become the biggest fee paid by a Premier League club in the transfer window so far.

Argentina superstar Lionel Messi has revealed he will not be moving to Manchester City.

Messi has been linked with a Barca exit following reports of friction between himself and Nou Camp boss Luis Enrique.

“I have no intentions of leaving for any team, not Chelsea nor Manchester City. I'm tired of all the things that people have been saying. I didn't ask the club to fire anyone,” he told Barca TV over the weekend.

John Guidetti has revealed he’s happy playing at Scottish side Celtic.

The striker is on loan from Manchester City and is out of contract with the Premier League champions at the end of the season.

“I am only looking forward and not back. I am playing for a great club with great supporters. We are in the running for four trophies. I am happy at Celtic,” he’s quoted by The Scotsman.
