Leeds' Adryan beats Cristiano Ronaldo to Fallon d'Floor award

Adryan

Leeds United loanee wins inaugural award for worst dive.

This dive is ridiculous. Ridiculously sensational, so much that it has become an internet sensation, shared around the world.

Adryan is the offender, a 20-year-old Brazilian currently on loan at Leeds United from Flamengo.

The dive against Derby County in November made a six-entry shortlist for the first ever Fallon d'Floor award, created by a Reddit user, set up with it's very own website.

On the day of the Ballon d'Or ceremony, the Fallon d'Floor winner has been declared as Adryan, the website confirms.

His over-reaction to the tackle against Derby was described as a like a 'fish out of water', and saw him amass 32 per cent of the total vote.

Adryan beat off esteemed competition, with the shortlist including dives from Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo, and Barcelona's Luis Suarez.

The youngster has been out of the Leeds side as of late, having struggled for form since making the dive. Perhaps that's karma catching up with him - or may be he genuinely really was badly affected by the challenge?

The Fallon d'Floor organisers claim they will be attempting to present Adryan with the award.
