Video: Reported Tottenham target Jackson Martinez scores in Porto win

The Colombia international is in excellent form in front of goal currently and netted his side’s first in a 3-0 victory over Belenenses yesterday.

Tottenham and new strikers is a popular topic in the British press, with countless centre forwards linked with a switch to White Hart Lane in recent months.

However, one of the most consistent names mentioned is Porto’s Jackson Martinez, who The Express stated last month was a transfer priority for the North London club.

The Colombia international is having a fruitful 2014-15 and scored for the third game in succession yesterday in a 3-0 victory over Belenenses, as can be seen below.

Martinez’s header set the tone for the match, with the goal coming after ten minutes of the game and as Porto’s opener.

The former Chiapas attacker is the Primeira Liga’s top goalscorer this season, with yesterday’s strike taking him to 13 goals in 16 starts for the Estadio do Dragao outfit in 2014-15.

Martinez has now scored 59 goals in the Portuguese top flight since moving to Porto in 2012.
