Harry Kane scored the goal for Tottenham in a 2-1 defeat at Selhurst Park.
Tottenham Hotspur's recent good run of results came to an end yesterday as they were defeated by Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Goals from Dwight Gayle, a penalty after Benjamin Stambouli was adjudged to have caught Joe Ledley with a silly lunge, and Jason Puncheon did the damage for The Eagles in a 2-1 home win.
Tottenham probably count themselves unlucky in defeat, but no player more so than striker Harry Kane.
The in-form striker scored Tottenham's goal in the game with a trademark strike from outside the box. He was then unfortunate not to get a late penalty when bundled into by Joe Ledley inside the Crystal Palace box.
His goal took his tally to the season to 18 goals and after the game he was, unsurprisingly, the only Tottenham player to react to the performance on his official Twitter account.
Kane, who has been pictured in an Arsenal shirt from when he was on their books as a youngster this week, showed his appreciation for the Tottenham fans who made the short journey to Selhurst Park and is now looking forward to the FA Cup replay with Burnley.
