As per the latest reports coming out of Italy, Liverpool midfielder Suso is to undergo a medical in Milan on Monday after agreeing to join AC Milan.
The Spanish U21 international arrived on Merseyside in 2010 as a youth product and initially joined the Reds’ academy before obtaining a permit to play for them professionally.
After impressing in the youth teams, the midfielder returned to Spain last season on a season-long loan deal at Almeria, helping the club preserve their La Liga status.
In spite of his burgeoning career, the 21-year-old has failed to impress boss Brendan Rodgers this season and has been allowed to seek a move away from the club ahead of his contract expiration next June.
“Liverpool midfielder Suso's future will be at Milan. The Spaniard reached an agreement with Milan on a four-year contract and tomorrow he'll arrive in Milano, where he'll have dinner with Galliani- his medical is scheduled for Monday,” the report states.
It remains to been whether Suso’s move to Italy will be as swift as the sudden news of his departure or whether he will have to wait until the summer when his contract expires with the Reds.
The report goes on to say that the Rossoneri are seeking a free transfer in January, and it is likely the Anfield outfit will comply just to save money on his wages over the next six months.
