At least there was one positive...
After a record 10th straight away defeat (no side has ever lost their first 10 out of 10 in the Premier League), after fans almost brawling with players at the end of the game, at least there was Adel Taarabt.
And that's saying something considering the fact that the Moroccan has barely featured for QPR this season. Harry Redknapp brought him back into the R's' first team for the crucial clash at Burnley yesterday afternoon - but the move may have ultimately damaged Redknapp's reputation somewhat.
Indeed, many QPR fans have been left questioning their manager's claims that Taarabt has been unfit all along. Against Burnley, supporters felt he looked as fit as any other QPR player out there - or at least as good as them without being fully fit.
The 25-year-old was praised for his effort, dribbling and passing at Burnley and, despite yet another loss, it was at least encouraging for QPR fans to celebrate the contribution of someone other than Charlie Austin or Rob Green.
As for the west London side's relegation fight, there seems little hope if Redknapp cannot set his side up to gain a single point away from home. Perhaps Taarabt can offer some hope, though? Here's a selection of some of the best fan reaction to the Moroccan's performance on Twitter!
Only positive was Adel Taarabt today the guy ooozes class with the way he plays, always looking to create chances #QPR— Billy Boy (@BillyMaguire7) January 10, 2015
I think we realised today that Reknapp has been lying about Taarabt being unfit. #qpr— Yousef Marafi® (@Yousef_QPR) January 10, 2015
Obviously much Kudos goes to the #QPR Medical Team for so miraculously getting Adel Taarabt fit!— QPR REPORT (@QPRReport) January 10, 2015
Gotta love how Redknapp makes it out that Taarabt's unfit yet he was the best player on the pitch for us today. #QPR— Dannyboy QPR (@DannyBerryQPR) January 10, 2015
