Arsenal take on Stoke City at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon with Arsene Wenger’s side well aware of the threat Mark Hughes’ men hold.
The Potters defeated the Gunners 3-2 earlier this season and are looking for their third straight win against Arsenal. That said, Stoke have a poor record at the Emirates and Wenger will be hoping that continues today.
Arsenal have scored in every home league game this season and with the forwards at their disposal that could well continue.
But Stoke are renowned for their defensive resilience so it will be a tough encounter for a side looking to climb back into the European places and possibly into the top four; although that will take a big win here and a heavy defeat for Southampton against Manchester United later in the day.
