4 chances created, 4 dribbles - Jason Puncheon runs riot against Spurs

Crystal Palace Selhurst Park

The Crystal Palace star absolutely shone during the 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur.

Jason Puncheon was the unquestionable star as Crystal Palace came back from behind to beat Tottenham 2-1 on Saturday evening.

Harry Kane gave the visitors the lead but Alan Pardew's men were irrepressible as they hit back, with Dwight Gayle slotting home a penalty before Puncheon finished to give Palace all three points against Mauricio Pochettino's side.

It was out wide that the Eagles enjoyed success in abundance - not for the first time this season - and Puncheon was their most consistent performer, despite a promising late cameo from Wilfried Zaha.

Mousa Dembele 3 1 1 15 90
Nacer Chadli 2 2 0 9 90

As Opta stats show, the Crystal Palace winger created more chances than any Palace or Tottenham player with four.

The same applies for dribbles, as the 28-year-old won four, and once again for accurate crosses, with Puncheon landing another three against the north London side.

And he Palace man also completed eight passes in the final third as Danny Rose and the Spurs defence simply struggled to live with him.

If Pardew was at all unsure as to who he should look to to keep Crystal Palace in the Premier League, then, he now knows for sure that Puncheon is more than up for the fight. Tottenham have also been shown first-hand just what he is capable of.
