Former Manchester United and Liverpool striker Michael Owen has predicted Saturday’s Premier League clash between Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur to end in a draw.
“Alan Pardew’s first home game back since returning to Selhurst Park but this Spurs side are beginning to impress me especially given the amount of games they have had to play in all competitions so far this term,” the 35-year-old wrote on Betvictpr.com. “A tough game to call and both sides may have to settle for a point.”
It is an interesting prediction from Owen, who says that Tottenham have impressed him yet does not fancy them to win at Selhurst Park.
Nevertheless, Spurs will not find it easy against Palace, who are fighting against relegation and will give their all against their London rivals.
An early goal for the Eagles could put Tottenham up a stump. There have been occasions when Mauricio Pochettino’s side have successfully staged a successful comeback, but against Palace it may not be that easy.
However, Tottenham will have to be considered favourites heading into Saturday’s game.
