Confirmed: Nottingham Forest v Sheffield Wednesday line-ups

Here is how Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday will line up for their Championship match this afternoon...

Nottingham Forest starting XI: De Vries; Kane, Lascelles, Hobbs, Lichaj; Osborn, Vaughan, Tesche; Antonio, Assombalonga, C. Burke.

Nottingham Forest substitutes: Darlow, Veldwijk, Laing, Paterson, Gardner, McLaughlin, O. Burke.

Sheffield Wednesday starting XI: Westwood; Lee, Lees, Loovens, Dielna; Maghoma, Palmer, Semedo, Maguire; May, Nuhiu.

Sheffield Wednesday substitutes: Kirkland, Mattock, Hutchinson, Lavery, Helan, Baker, De Havilland.

Two teams with outside hopes of a play-off place meet today as Nottingham Forest host Sheffield Wednesday at the City Ground.

Forest made a blistering start to the season, which included a 1-0 at Hillsborough to beat Wednesday back in September, but have struggled of late.

Last weekend's FA Cup defeat to League One side Rochdale has heaped the pressure on manager Stuart Pearce, and he's hit the loan market with the signing of Aston Villa midfielder Gary Gardner, who is on the bench, with Todd Kane starting having arrived from Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Wednesday travel having won their last two games, and are just six points outside the top six as Stuart Gray turns around a tough run of form.

Gray has made his own loan capture from Chelsea this week, with Lewis Baker taking his place on the bench, with Stevie May and Atdhe Nuhiu continuing up front.
