Villa have won their last three meetings with today’s opponents and have only lost once in their last eight encounters, which means they will be a very tough proposition for a Leicester side rooted to the bottom of the table.
That said, the Foxes have gone three games unbeaten and will be hoping to make that four this afternoon, especially with Lambert’s side without a win (and with only one goal) in their last five matches.
Villa have drawn their last two league games 0-0 but that result will be little help for either side today, with Leicester taking plenty from their 2-2 draw with Liverpool and fine FA Cup win against Newcastle United last time out.
