The Crystal Palace boss has been discussing the north London side's impressive run of form.
And Pardew feels Tottenham have been helped by the fact that the distraction of Thursday night football no longer applies.
“They were terrific against Chelsea. The fact the Europa League campaign has closed down has helped them," the Crystal Palace boss is quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror.
"We are going to have to try and knock them off their stride.
“I’m hoping to put real belief in the team. I know that from the welcome I’ve had, that this place is going to be jumping and we need to exploit that.”
Crystal Palace host Tottenham later today and the mention of Europa League is certainly worth entertaining.
Since their last European game, Spurs have gone on their unbeaten run, having lost in Turkey to Besiktas before their successful run of form.
During the early stages of the season, boss Mauricio Pochettino often struggled to pick the right players for the right games - or perhaps it was more a case of them struggling with the added demands of European football.
Now, however, Tottenham are clear to concentrate on the domestic side of things - which carries on at Crystal Palace in today's late kick-off.
