Chelsea and Manchester City are locked in a battle at the top of the Premier League and this weekend could see either side create a small gap over the other.
Manchester United are the closest team to them, but Louis van Gaal’s side have been left with it all to do as they chase the lead at the top after some disappointing results in recent weeks.
At the other end of the table, new Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew is under pressure straight away as he looks to try and get his side out of the bottom three, with Leicester City and Burnley still struggling around them.
Liverpool also have a big weekend as they try to pull closer to the top six while Pardew’s old side Newcastle United will be wary of slipping into the bottom half of the table.
