The Belgian youth international looks set to ignore the Premier League for La Liga.

Belgian talent is all the rage in world football at the moment and with good reason. The Benelux nation has been producing some top talent for the past few years and are now one of the highest ranked nations in world football

Plenty of Premier League teams have taken full advantage. Chelsea have Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard, Manchester City have Vincent Kompany while Everton have the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Kevin Mirallas on their books.

Tottenham Hotspur are also part of the club. They have Jan Vertonghen and Nacer Chadli in their first-team, but it might have been more - the same goes for Manchester City.

The two teams both had Theo Bongonda on trial in recent times. The teenage striker currently plays for Belgian Pro League outfit Zulte Waregem and has also attracted interest from Arsenal in recent times.

But all three clubs will be disappointed to hear that Bongonda has decided to join a Spanish team, according to reports.

It was reported by Belgian paper Het Nieuwsblad yesterday that the teenager would be joining Celta Vigo this week. They report that a €1.3 million fee has been agreed for the talent and that the deal should be concluded by the end of the day.

Local paper Faro de Vigo even have a picture of the player at a restaurant in the town yesterday, where negotiations were said to have taken place. They also report he will sign a deal until the end of the 2018-19 season with the La Liga outfit.

So Manchester City, Tottenham and Arsenal - it looks like this talent has slipped through the net.
