Chelsea morning news: Schurrle tipped to leave, Mourinho in trouble

Andre Schurrle Germany

A round up of news stories this morning about Chelsea.

Wolfsburg are reportedly ready to try and sign Chelsea star Andre Schurrle.

Reports suggest the German side will make an offer for the wide man in the region of £23 million.

Schurrle has been used infrequently in the Chelsea team by Jose Mourinho this season.

Jose Mourinho is facing a fine and a touchline ban for his comments over a campaign against Chelsea.

The Blues boss claimed that sides were putting pressure on referees to make decisions against the Blues.

Chelsea striker Loic Remy is expecting the side to improve after an inconsistent Christmas and New Year.

Chelsea have seen their Premier League lead slip away over the last couple of weeks, but Remy believes they can pull through a difficult period.

“The mood is really positive. We are still focused on all the targets. Every team will be in trouble at some time and I hope ours is behind us now with the last two games,” he told the Standard.
