10 Premier League stats for the weekend – featuring Chelsea, Manchester United and Robin van Persie

There's an exciting set of Premier League fixtures in prospect and we round up 10 key statistics ahead of the action.

0% – Queens Park Rangers are still without a point on their travels this season, scoring only four goals and shipping 22 in their nine trips. This weekend has to be considered one of their best opportunities to end that run between now and the end of the season as they face relegation-placed Burnley at Turf Moor.

7Robin van Persie has scored seven goals in his seven Premier League matches versus Southampton, including his brace at St Mary's last month. The Manchester United striker will be looking to add to that tally this weekend

7 – Mark Hughes has been on the losing side in all seven of his visits to the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League. The Stoke City manager takes his side to Arsenal on Sunday.

10 – Roberto Martínez has faced Manchester City 11 times in the Premier League as a manager, losing on 10 occasions and drawing once. His Everton side host the Citizens this weekend on a terrible run and against a side who have won nine of their 11 - doesn't make the prospect any greater for turning things around at Goodison Park.

11 – Aston Villa have scored a league-low 11 goals in their first 20 fixtures this season. Only Queens Park Rangers (35) have shipped more goals than Leicester City (33) ahead of this weekend's fixtures, so now is a good chance to add to that tally. Mind you, they left it until the 88th minute to score their only goal versus struggling Championship side Blackpool in the FA Cup last weekend...

12 – Everton are without a clean sheet in 12 domestic games following their 1-1 draw with West Ham in the FA Cup on Tuesday night.

50% – New West Brom manager Tony Pulis has won four of his eight Premier League matches versus Steve Bruce, drawing two. The Baggies fans have every reason to be confident their manager can pick up some points in his first league game in charge at the Hawthorns.

89% – Manchester United have won eight of their last nine Premier League games at Old Trafford. Since losing their opener to Swansea City, they have only dropped points at home to Chelsea as Louis van Gaal has his team on a roll. The Dutch manager faces fellow countryman Ronald Koeman on the touchlines in a much-anticipated game this Sunday.

100% – Chelsea boast a 100% win record at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League this season as they look to end their run of two consecutive games without a win. José Mourinho's side have netted an impressive 22 goals and only conceded three at home so far this season, including seven clean sheets. Newcastle are the next challengers, on Saturday.

270 – Crystal Palace have conceded the most free kicks in the Premier League so far this season. Alan Pardew is set to take charge of the Eagles in the league for the first time on Saturday when they host Tottenham Hotspur.
