24 Days to go until the Transfer Window closes, here's a look at a few of the developing deals...
Arsenal consider hijacking Rabiot loan
Tottenham had hoped to secure Adrien Rabiot on loan, but face competition now from Arsenal. The switch is agreed between Spurs and Rabiot, but PSG are still to sanction the move and are unlikely to do so until they bring in a target of their own. The Mirror now report Arsenal are considering hijacking the move for the promising defensive midfielder and making him an offer to join them instead.
Gunners also want Gundogan, pulls out of Perrin deal
The same paper also claim Arsenal are looking at an another midfielder, Borussia Dortmund's much coveted Ilkay Gundogan. The German has recently returned from a long-term back injury, and is reported to be available for £16 million. The Mail however claim the Gunners have pulled out of a deal for Loic Perrin of St Etienne with Arsene Wenger judging the defender's £8 million price tag as too expensive.
Jovetic touted for City exit
Manchester City forward Stevan Jovetic is likely to be pushed towards the exit door with the arrival of Wilfried Bony, report the Manchester Evening News. The Montenegro forward could become the fall guy with City having restrictions on their squad for the Champions League, along with the number of foreign players, and he is also a player who can fetch a decent fee to balance the books for Financial Fair Play.
United linked again with Hummels
The Mirror write that Manchester United are to launch a £35 million bid for Borussia Dortmund captain Mats Hummels. This is likely to be doomed to failure however with the player's father saying today there was 'nothing to it', when quizzed about rumours linking him away with the club. With Dortmund struggling for form, Hummels is unlikely to want to be seen as abandoning ship having only been appointed as captain last summer.
