Tottenham Hotspur ‘fear’ they won’t get Burnley’s Danny Ings and Aston Villa’s Fabian Delph - report

Burnley striker Danny Ings and Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph are reportedly on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur are not sure if they will be able to sign Danny Ings from Burnley and Fabian Delph from Aston VIlla, according to a report.

North London outfit Tottenham have been strongly linked with moves for striker Ings and midfielder Delph in the January transfer window.

The Telegraph claims that Spurs “are set to make a bid to sign” Ings, but they “fear” that Burnley will not want to sell the 22-year-old.

The Clarets are currently second from bottom in the Premier League table, and it is believed that they will want to hold onto the striker who has scored five goals and created 17 chances in league appearance so far.

The situation with Delph is similar. The 25-year-old England international is a key player for Villa, who are five points above the drop zone.

Tottenham are reportedly willing to pay as much as £7 million for Ings and £4m for Delph, but it has been claimed that that may not be enough to convince Burnley and Villa, who will have Premier League safety as their top priority.

Perhaps Tottenham should increase their offers, if indeed they are interested in Ings and Delph...
