Kane has been the best striker at the club so far this season and he selected himself alongside Arsenal and Chelsea players as well as an ex-Tottenham star for the round of games before the recent FA Cup ties.
Reports have suggested that a small group of Tottenham players compete in a mini-league and there will be plenty of banter flying around the dressing room as to why Kane didn’t pick any of his teammates.
Had he done so, he may have accumulated even more points as Tottenham’s last Premier League match was their superb 5-3 win against Chelsea at White Hart Lane.
The only mistake that Kane made appears to have been not making himself captain (he chose Manchester City’s David Silva) which would have earned him double points from his performance against the Blues.
His side was: De Gea, Dummett, Williams, Terry, Fabregas, Sanchez, Sigurdsson, Silva, Costa, Kane, Bony
