A round up of news stories this morning about Chelsea.
Barcelona coach Luis Enrique has dismissed reports of friction between himself and Lionel Messi.
Chelsea have been suggested as a side that could come into the equation to sign Messi, with several reports he’s disillusioned with Enrique’s methods at the Nou Camp.
“We know each other better now but there is no change in the relationship. I have the support of the club and the players. I continue my work with professionalism and I am not here to deny stories,” said the Barca boss.
It could cost Chelsea up to £200 million as a fee just to get Messi to Stamford Bridge.
He’d also require a high wage deal, as rumours persist that the Argentine could be heading for the Premier League.
Chelsea won’t have a say on where Petr Cech will go if he leaves the club, according to reports.
The goalkeeper has been tipped to leave the Blues after failing to replace Thibaut Courtois as the club’s number one.
Arsenal and Liverpool have been mentioned as sides that would be interested in signing him.
