Luciano Becchio's agent has revealed how the striker feels about former club Leeds United.
The agent of former Leeds United striker Luciano Becchio has been speaking about the prospect of the Argentine returning to Elland Road.
Reports began to circulate on Tuesday evening, claiming Leeds manager Neil Redfearn had targeted Becchio as a potential January signing, and now the player’s agent Horacio Rossi has added fuel to the fire.
In quotes given to the Press Association and later published by the Yorkshire Evening Post, Rossi said, “Leeds is Luciano’s home and if they want to sign him they know where we are.
“Leeds is always going to be a special club for Luciano. It’s a club that he loves.”
Becchio currently plays for Norwich City but most recently turned out for Rotherham United, where he scored two goals in five loan appearances.
Since leaving Elland Road it is fair to say things have not gone according to plan for the Argentine, who netted 86 times for Leeds.
