Charlie Taylor started for Leeds United in their FA Cup game against Sunderland last weekend.
Leeds United's Stephen Warnock admits that he is expecting a fight to get back into the team due to the form of Charlie Taylor.
Warnock picked up an injury against Derby County in the Whites' final game of 2014 and he has been out ever since.
It means that he had to watch from the stands as his side took on Sunderland in the FA Cup and he was clearly impressed by what he saw.
Although Leeds were unable to win the tie against their Premier League opponents, they did give them a scare and the performance of Taylor earned particular praise.
The 21-year-old has only played three times for the club this season, but he showed no signs of rustiness as he put in a fine display at the Stadium of Light.
Combative defensively and impressive going forward Taylor was one of the most notable performers during the fixture and Neil Redfearn now faces a selection dilemma.
Warnock has been a virtual mainstay for the side this season and is expected to be available at the weekend, when the Whites take on Bolton Wanderers, but dropping Taylor would be harsh on the youngster after such an eye-catching showing.
