Everton Goodison

A late Romelu Lukaku equaliser means that there will be a replay between the two sides next week at the Boleyn Ground.

Everton stopped the rot at Goodison Park last night courtesy of a stoppage time equaliser from Romelu Lukaku cancelling out James Collins's opening goal early on in the second half.

There was a sense of relief among the anxious home crowd, and Everton manager Roberto Martinez, having seen their side lose four consecutive Premier League games prior to this fixture. It seemed as though they would be heading out of the competition at the first hurdle but they managed to salvage a replay at the Boleyn Ground for next week as Allardyce goes in search of his first win in the FA Cup as Hammers' boss, while Martinez will want to stay in the competition to salvage something from a poor season so far.

There may have been a tinge of disappointment from Sam Allardyce as his side looked in control for large parts of the game, but even as a side low on confidence, the Toffees always looked a threat going forward with Ross Barkley, Romelu Lukaku and Kevin Mirallas in particular.

Here are some of the best pictures from last night's game:
