Celtic, West Ham-linked Stephen Hendrie: 'Right offer' could see me leave

The 19-year-old as been discussing his future amid links with both Celtic and West Ham.

Celtic and West Ham United-linked teenager Stephen Hendrie says the 'right offer' could see him leave Hamilton Academical.

West Ham have reportedly expressed interest in a £2 million offer for the 19-year-old, while Celtic are also said to be interested.

And Hendrie, currently in form at Hamilton, admits the 'right offer' could see him leave the Scottish club.

"I’m 20 next week. I don’t think that’s too young or too old to move from Hamilton," Hendrie is quoted as saying by the Scottish Daily Mail.

"I’m a Celtic fan and obviously the [English] Premier League is one of the best leagues in the world. That’s my dream - you want to reach as high a level as you can and if I can get to the Premier League that would be brilliant.

"But the Accies would need to see if it’s the right offer. If it is, they say they’ll never stand in anybody’s way. They are a great club like that. If they accepted it, there is not much I could do."

Both Celtic and West Ham were in action earlier this week, the Bhoys beating Kilmarnock in the SPL and the Hammers drawing at Everton in the FA Cup.
