Arsenal transfer news: £96m triple swoop mooted for Isco, Reid and Schneiderlin

All the latest transfer news and gossip from The Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal are being linked with a massive £64 million swoop for Real Madrid midfielder Isco. Reports this morning claim Arsene Wenger is a big fan of the player and also faces competition from Manchester City and Chelsea.

Isco struggles for first-team football at Real, despite being one of their star performers earlier in the campaign.

Where exactly Arsenal play Isco, in a position they have plenty of options already, would remain to be seen but they would be breaking the British transfer record if they did conclude this unlikely signing.

Arsenal could be about to bring in Winston Reid from West Ham, according to reports. The Gunners are in desperate need of a new centre-back, with the likes of Nacho Monreal and Mathieu Debuchy having to fill in the role this term due to injuries and suspensions.

Reid, whose contract expires in the summer, can agree a free transfer with teams this month, but The Hammers want to cash in by selling him to a team who needs a defender immediately.

Arsenal would have to spend around £7 million on the New Zealand international.

Arsenal are ready to beat Tottenham to the signature of Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, in the summer.

The midfield general has been in excellent form once again this season and Arsenal see him as a potential solution to their midfield issues.

Spurs are also keen but Arsenal are said ready to shell £25 million out on the French international. However, they will not be able to conclude a deal until the end of the season.
