West Ham fans react on Twitter to Mauro Zarate signing for QPR

West Ham United supporters have been left disappointed by Sam Allardyce's decision to allow Mauro Zarate to join Queens Park Rangers on loan.

Zarate only signed for the Hammers this summer, but he failed to have the desired impact at the Boleyn Ground and has had to go out on loan to get first-team football.

The Argentinian creator has played just eight times for West Ham, scoring twice, and never fully adapted to Allardyce's methods.

Zarate struggled to find a route into the team because of the success the club have experienced since the start of the campaign, with Allardyce overlooking him in favour of numerous other attacking options

Zarate's departure, therefore, was not too surprising, but it has still been a disappointing turn of events for many West Ham fans.

They feel that he had more to offer than Kevin Nolan, who Allardyce seems determined to persist with, and are frustrated that he wasn't given more of a chance to impress.
