Leeds United defender Stephen Warnock has sent an injury update on social media.
Leeds United left-back Stephen Warnock has taken to Twitter to spread some good news regarding his latest injury.
The 33-year-old was taken off after just eight minutes of Leeds' match against Derby County and did not take part in their FA Cup third round tie against Sunderland on Sunday.
But on Tuesday afternoon, he wrote, "Very happy with the news that my scan is all clear. Dr also happy with its condition. Need to get the last bit of swelling out of it."
Leeds' next match is a Championship game against Bolton Wanderers at the weekend and it remains to be seen if Warnock will be back for that game.
But it appears he will return sooner rather than later, and that can only be good news for his manager Neil Redfearn, who will want his side to take their positive performance against Sunderland into their upcoming league matches.
