The Assassin's Creed movie pushed back to Christmas 2016

Assassin's Creed Birth of a New World – The American Saga

The movie gets pushed back again due to more delays.

Another delay has hit the movie adaptation of Ubisoft's popular Assassin's Creed games. Now due on 21st December 2016, the movie will star Michael Fassbender (Prometheus, X-Men: First Class).

About four months ago the movie was delayed from its 7th August 2015 release to 2016, as it simply wouldn't have been ready in time.

The movie is being produced by Ubisoft and Fox with Justin Kurzel directing.

No other details about the movie have really been released, little is known. The film was first talked of back in 2011, with Fassbender being linked to it since 2012.
